Actually, there are two sisters and a John! Their names are John Cunningham (he's
the John part), and Beth and Susan Higgins (they're the sisters part), and they make their homes near Babb and in Missoula,
Montana. The sisters are members of the Blackfeet Tribe, and they they relocated (from New Orleans for Beth and from San Francisco
for Susan and John) back to the Blackfeet Reservation just outside Glacier National Park in the spring of 1992. Beth was just
completing her culinary education and Susan was living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area with Big John Cunningham (OK
- Two Sisters and A John had kind of a funny ring to it!) when the opportunity to buy a little cafe waaaay out in the woods
became too much temptation to resist! So they all moved north and began creating some of the most unique and delicious fare
in the great state of Montana! After operating successfully since 1992 at Two Sisters Cafe, near Babb Montana,
and since 2000 at Two Sisters, downtown Missoula, the threesome decided to sell the Missoula restaurant location
and take on another venture at the fabulous Florence Building in downtown Missoula. In the spring of 2006, Two Sisters
Catering went into operation at The Governor's Room in the Florence Building at 111 N. Higgins in downtown Missoula.
And we're proud to announce that Two Sisters Catering won Best Caterer in the Missoula Independent "Best Of" contest
in 2008, 2009, and 2010!
